Advantage® II starts killing fleas in an hour. Within 12 hours of initial application, 98-100 percent of all existing fleas on pets are dead. Advantage® II is for puppies seven weeks of age and older and kittens 8 weeks of age and older. For fast relief for your pet, see your veterinarian and ask for Advantage® II flea control.Larval flea stages in the pet's surroundings are killed following contact with an Advantage treated pet.Advantage remains efficacious following a shampoo treatment, swimming, or after exposure to rain or sunlight.If re-treatment becomes necessary earlier than four weeks, do not re-treat more than once weekly.Important Risk Information:Dogs: Ingestion of this product by dogs may cause serious adverse reactions including depression, salivation, dilated pupils, in-coordination, panting and generalized muscle tremors. In avermectin-sensitive dogs, the signs may be more severe and may include coma and death. Reduce the risk of accidental oral ingestion by separating treated pets for 30 minutes.
